Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Whisperio app (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account information (especially your password) confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us if you notice any suspicious access.

4. Prohibited Conduct

While using the App, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or otherwise disturb another user
• Post hate speech, discriminatory, or unlawful content
• Impersonate another person or provide false information
• Create an account while under 18 years of age
• Send spam, advertise, or use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes
• Attempt to bypass the App's security measures (e.g. automation/bots, fake accounts)
• Share another user's personal information without their consent

5. Content Moderation and Account Suspension

Whisperio enforces a zero-tolerance policy toward objectionable content and toward users who abuse or harass others. Messages and posts you submit may be reviewed for compliance with these Terms by automated systems (and manually when necessary). We reserve the right to remove content we determine violates these Terms, and to warn, restrict, or permanently suspend the accounts involved — this decision is made solely at our discretion.

6. Blocking and Reporting

You may use the in-app blocking and reporting tools against users who disturb you or whom you believe have violated these Terms. Misuse of these tools (e.g. false reports) may also be treated as a violation.

7. Virtual Tokens and Payments

The App includes a virtual unit called "tokens," used for features such as extending chat time and sending icebreaker questions. Tokens have no real-world monetary value, cannot be converted to cash, and cannot be transferred to another user. Purchased tokens may be refunded to the extent permitted by applicable consumer law; as a general rule, no refunds are issued except for unused tokens. Prices may vary by region.

8. Premium Membership

Premium membership offers additional features such as ad removal and unlimited free chat time extension. Premium membership fees are subject to the terms of the platform you purchased through (App Store/Play Store); cancellations and refunds are handled through that store.

9. Chat Duration

Matches are active for a limited time by default; once that time expires, the chat becomes read-only. The duration can be extended using tokens. Chats between users who have become mutual friends are not subject to this time limit.

10. Intellectual Property

The App itself (design, code, branding) belongs to us. Content you share (messages, posts) belongs to you; however, you grant us permission to use this content for the purpose of operating the App (e.g. delivering it to the other party, running it through moderation).

11. Account Deletion and Termination

You may permanently delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is." We are not responsible for the conduct of other users or the content they share; despite taking reasonable moderation measures, we may not be able to detect all harmful content in advance. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the App. Continuing to use the App after such changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
